PERIODONTAL SCALING
Periodontal Scaling is a routine procedure that can be conducted at the same time as your dental cleaning, should your dentist deem it necessary. This procedure is performed using special dental instruments designed to access the area below the gum line to remove plaque and tartar build-up. If left unchecked, this plaque and tartar can lead to bone loss and decay.
